I hope there will be more patches in the future that will eventually remove GfWL sh*t and fix other bugs. On the other hand, they wouldn't update the client if they were going to remove it anyway. Well technically GTA IV does use Social Club as well. But does the launcher look the same as it did before, or does it look like the launcher from LA Noire/Max Payne 3/GTA V? There is no Social club overlay in the game, just a launcher like before but you don't have to enter your credentials, you just have to link your live account with your social club page.
