Remote Desktop From Vista To Xp Pro
To whom it may concern, I often connect to my home computer from my laptop from work. My laptop runs XP professional and I have resently installed Vista Home Basic on my home pc. Being new to Vista i have been having difficulties enabling remote desktop connection.
Devcon Install Usb/vid. In XP i would right click on My Computer, select properties, and navigate to the remote tab. Here I would find 2 options, 1 to enable remote assistance and one to enable remote desktop.

I have been able to navigate to the remote settings in Vista but can only find the option to enable Remote Assistance. I thought the Remote Desktop option might not be available do to a GPO that was set but when I access the mmc I cannot add the GPO snap in (it is not available). Could some one please assist me by educating me how I can enable remote desktop in Vista Home Basic?
